Curtain Wall panel tags - system panel area

I have a need to tag curtainwall system panel areas - I have no problem having this info in a schedule. Area shows up and is calculated out of the box. I can't, though, show this area in a tag. Is there a way to show this info in a tag? In my application I am applying this to a curtainwall roof and tagging in a plan view.

If they are rectangles then you can create a calculated label in the tag family.  If they are odd shaped then more work involved.

It seems very odd that one wouldn’t be able to “show” the data that is
already there and available - yes there are odd shaped panels. I am simply
looking for the area that one can easily see in the properties panel (or
even schedule) if you select individual panels. Is that really inaccessible?

It is odd.  We should be able to tag system panels with Area the same way we can with Walls or other system families.

As things stand, you need to use Dynamo to write the Area value to a shared parameter in order to tag the panels, if you have lots of odd shaped panels.
