Curtain Wall Panel problem with the array

Hallo everyone! I have modeled a generic face based family (with other nested ones in it) with a length type parameter that rules the array number of the connections (one of those nested families)

Then I nested it in a Curtain Wall Panel family, linking the length type parameter of the nested family with an instance reporting parameter of the length of the Curtain Wall Panel family

I have checked that adjusting the length of the panel both the array and the nested family run correctly.

At this point I have tried to use that panel inside of a custom curtain wall (in a new project) but then I have faced out that something wrong happens between the nested families of the very first generic face based family.... I don't understand what's going on.. can you help me please?

I have attached two families:

- FFA_beam is the generic face based family

- FFA_panel_mittelprofil is the Curtain Wall Panel family

Unfortunately I were not able to attach the Project, but this is the easiest thing to do: to test it, as you know, you should load the Curtain Wall Panel family into a new project and modify the default Curtain Wall system family, putting the new panel into it, with a vertical grid fixed spacing equal to the number after 45/"..." which is the width of each family type.

Thank you!

Hi,

Have you tried lock the nested family? If you use array you need to lock first and the last element to the reference line. Try this.
