Curtain Wall: Nestled generic model into curtain wall array problems

I have been trying to create a curtain wall family and have nestled in a generic model.

Every time I expand the width, there is a huge gap. How do I fix this? There are dimensions in the width but they aren't associated to any labels.

Seems like you try to array an element that's too wide? Can you share the family?

You can model the array as millions in the curtain wall in the project.  Either way, do you realize this is over modeling?  This could be just repeating detail component added in enlarged details.
