Curtain Wall families not working error

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello. I'm working on a revit project. I created a curtain wall and everything worked fine until I try to upload the curtain wall families. For example a door for curtain wall or a window. Whenever I try to upload THESE SPECFIFIC ONES I get an error saying they can't find it or that they might not be the right family. Or for example I create a curtain wall and when I click on the glass it only says "curtain wall" instead of the specific glass that's located there. I don't know what to do since I've deleted and re installed the families several times. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong??

Thanks

TAB-Select.

Tip: If you have difficulty highlighting a particular element because other elements are in close proximity, press  TAB to cycle through the elements until the desired element is highlighted. The status bar identifies the currently highlighted element. Press SHIFT+TAB to cycle through elements in reverse order.

There is no such thing as "a curtain wall family".  Do you mean a curtain panel family?  Share it here and we can tell you why it isn't working.

This is the Link I meant to post:

So basically, you want to hover your mouse cursor over the Curtain Wall/Panel, TAB-Select until the Curtain Panel is highlighted blue, click on it, UNPIN it, and then replace it with your Curtain Wall Door Type via the Type Selector dropdown box in the Curtain Wall Panel's Properties Palette.  Get it?
