Curtain wall doesn't appear and error.

When I try to change the type of normal wall with curtain wall, the curtain wall does not appear and the floor disappears. What could be the reason and how can I fix it?

This happens to me a lot, what I do is, Change the basic wall to storefront (I know it has mullions) then delete all the mullions (It take time) then create your own mullion grids.

Hi,

You can select all mullions of a Curtainwall: Select CurtainWall > Right Click > Select Mullions > Mullions on Host.

And can also be done with all panels.

Hi, @Anonymous ,

No need to change to a Curtain Wall, the Curved Curtainwall only has 1 panel. Add more gridlines or change the type to automatically assign vertical gridlines. For example maximal spacing of 1000mm. (see images below)

About the Floor error: the floor was joined with the wall, now that's it a Curtainwall it can no longer be joined.

What happens if you click on "Unjoin Elements" the floor should reappear but unjoined.

Small correction:

No need to change to a Curtain Wall, ......

Should read:  No need to change to a storefront curtainwall, just adjust you're curtainwall or change to new type

I never knew this, it's perfect. I have tried it, but is there a way to delete the grids in the same way?

Hi,

If the grids are placed by the use they can all be selected at once (isolate curtainwall, cross select and filter gridlines)

For Gridlines created by the Curtainwall type; they can't be deleted like this, change the type of Curtainwall.
