Curtain panels automatically joining perpendicular walls

I'm having trouble solving this. Basically, I need a component for a window that will have different offsets. I'm using curtain walls because they appear frequently in different sizes throughout the project. The solution I found was to have a 'mother' curtain wall with two 'child' walls as panels. However, I've encountered a situation where a perpendicular wall is nearby, and I need to prevent the child curtain wall from joining it.

Model them as separate curtain walls so that you can disallow join for each.

@ToanDN I was originally doing that, but it messed with their length and height in the tables. Do you know another workaround? I was thinking about using a 1mm mullion around the main curtain wall to stop them from joining, but I was hoping for a better solution.
