Cropping image

Good afternoon. Could someone please tell me how to get rid of unwanted areas in raster images? for Example I got several images already imported into my model and I don't want to use Paint in order to cut unwanted areas like black frames. I know there is something like "cropping" or something but YouTube don't show much.

here you are an example of raster image with unwanted area both on the top and the bottom: (I was unable to upload any image, you just use imagination, system says file exceeds...)

any suggestion please?

Thank you

I am working on my NCARB towards my California Architect License,
if you think you can help me to complete my AXP, please let me know, I will really appreciate it. Thank you & Stay Wealthy, Happy, Healthy and Safe 🙂

place the image in a model view (plan, detail, elevation) then use the view's crop region to crop it.

Duplicate or create a new view (I think Area Plan is the best option).  Drag drop the image in a blank area.  Turn on View Crop region and crop the view. You can even create a custom shaped crop.

Thank you for your response but this option does not work for me , I have like 100 differents images and I would need to create 100 different views.

Then crop them outside of Revit and reload them via Insert > Manage Images.

... there's probably a Dynamo solution to place 100 images and create those views.

WHAT ABOUT IF I WANT TO PLACE AN IMAGE IN THE BACKGROUND OF A LEGEND? CAN YOU CROP A LEGEND? IF NOT IMAGE WILL NEED TO BE CROPPED. YOU COULD DO IT BEFORE IMPORT, BUT IT MAKES IT EASIER TO DO AFTER BECAUSE OF SCALING.
