Creating Parts for Sceduling and 3D Detail View., Will they affect each other?

Video 1.

@2:09 Creating Parts

@Anonymous:44 Scheduling Parts

In video 1, The wall is separated into parts so that each wall layers can be scheduled for more accurate calculation.

Video 2

@5:55 Using Parts to Create Exploded Views

If I use extra 3D views and 'Create Parts' to show multiple 3D wall assemblies,

Will this affect the part schedule I want to make like Video 1 or it won't affect because 'Create Parts are view-specific?

But 'Create Parts' gotta be universal through every view because it can be scheduled?

Parts are actual elements.  Display of Parts is view specific.  Parts schedules are based on the actual quantity of Parts, not if the Parts are shown or not by View settings.

When you Create Parts, you are creating new Model Elements of the Category "Parts".  Those Parts are hosted to the source geometry (e.g. the "Original) from which they are created.  The "Original" geometry is not changed.  You can Create Parts in any Project View -- similar to adding any model element to the Project. For instance, if you place a Wall on Level 1 Plan View, you will see that Wall in other Views. Right? Well, it's the same with Parts.

But, Parts Visibility is a View Setting. Views can be set to Show Parts, Show Both or Show Original. This is no different than toggling the Wall Category on or off under the View's Visibility/Graphic Overrides to hide or unhide Walls in a View.

Scheduling is not affected by whether or not the Category being schedule is visible or not visible in any particular Project View -- or whether or not Parts are displaced in Project Views (as in an exploded views).
