Creating gas line diagram

I am being asked to create a gas line diagram for a residential house that shows btu's/hr of appliances. Last time we just did a dummy one with detail lines but I'm wondering if its worth it to make one by actually modeling the pipes in the wall. I've started this by running 3/4" pipe but when I try to connect the pipes revit is saying I don't have the fittings loaded to make the connection. I've loaded all the fittings I can find in the imperial library... Any ideas.? Thanks.

Maybe you need to check the setting of the fitting so it covered the size of your pipe.  You should be able to find the answer in MEP forum.

The fittings need to be assigned to the system with the routing preferences.

I was able to get the elbow to work by loading in the generic standard elbow however the tee is still not working... any special tricks for this? Thanks

The tee family needs to be added to the junction section of the routing preferences.

You have to start with an MEP template to get all the fittings to work from the start.
