Creating Custom Lables for Titleblock and they show on the page as "?" and are uneditable by clicking on them.

Hello!

Currently working on a custom titleblock for a project and I'm trying to add in the Company's Job Number. When its on the sheet it shows as a "?" and anytime I click on it.. it opens the family editor for the entire titleblock.

If anyone knows what the workaround is to get it to be edited, that would be greatly appreciated.

The labels must be using shared parameters.  Then add the same shared parameters to the project parameters, assign them to Project Info or Sheet category (one or another, not both) depends on what they are.

Hey thanks for the reply!  I have been on this for a little bit now and still can't get it to change.

Steps I've done so far:

  Shared Parameters. Created a Group called Titleblock. Created new Parameter called ARCH NO.

 (job number reference). Then tried adding it to the titleblock. 

I'm a little confused about how to add the shared parameter to the project parameter.

Why don't you use the built-in project number parameter?

I must have missed that. Thank you for pointing that one out.

I tried adding ARCHT. NO. to project parameters and it still came with the "?".
