Creating an If in a family

I am trying to create a condition in a family to where, if I want an items line work to appear in a different color depending on the instance type I select in the family.

For example, I have a male and female toilet fixture. family. I have an instant for both, but I want the line work to show blue when its a male and red when female. with out creating a bunch of visibility settinhs with extra line work, how can I work it out in parameters?

Why not using a view filter to change the fixture color base on the gender criteria?

That is for you to override the color of different gender fixtures in your project environment.

If you want the color happens inside the family then clarify how the family was built. Do you have different types for differnt genders?
