I would like to know how can you "create" several floors using Revit?  In the software program there is Level 1 and Level 2 (L1 & L2).  Also how can one create an atrium for a Building Modeling project?

First go to elevation or section, there you can copy existing level or create new level.

After you've created your floor plan using VIEW>FLOOR PLAN

Regarding "how can one create an atrium for a Building Modeling project": I would need a heck of a lot more information than just "atrium". Do you have a picture or sketch of what you want to model?  If so, post it.  But generally, an atrium is a structure with walls, floors and roofs just like any structure.  Revit has tools to model walls, floors and roofs.
