Creating a Custom Border using labels

  Fairly new to Revit, but trying to set up a customized border using Text Labels, & I have accomplished this just fine. However...……my question is when I create these new Labels & new parameters, why do I have to load them individually into a project every time when I create the first new sheet for every project?

  I'm assuming there must be a way that allows you to start a new project, new sheet, & then insert the custom border with out having to go into the shared parameters for the new border and individually installing the created text parameters for that border?  Is there a way to set this up so every time I insert the border into my new project that the parameters stay attached with the border?

Are you wondering how to include certain families in a Revit Template automatically? Create a Template (RTE).  

...basically, open a Project, throw everything you want available by default into it, and save the Project as a Template.

Either what @barthbradley says, or if you are worksharing, the it would be a good idea to create a seed file with everything (including worksets) set up and saved as an RVT. 

In a nutshell - Revit template RTE file - if files are not workshared

                           Revit seed project RVT file - if you are worksharing

That method would work for me moving forward, but what about inserting my new border into existing Revit projects?

@andyQNCHZ  Make a generic annotation family out of your border and insert it into all the projects you want.

Maybe I misunderstood.  What do you mean by "borders"? Title Blocks; right? Load the Title Block Family into the Project Browser. When you Add a Sheet, you will be prompted to select a Title Block or select None.  

...BTW: You have to create a Title Block in a Title Block Family Template.  No other family will work.  Also, you don't build the Title Block in the Project; you build it in its entirety in the Family and then load it into the Project. Anything in the Title Block Family will carry over to the Project.

Open an OOTB titleblock family and see how it is done.  then you can Save As to a new family, modify to your liking, load to you projects to use it.

Example in here:

Yes, by border I mean Title Block, & yes the title block was  created in & saved under the title block family.

The issue becomes when loading it into an existing project, the title block with its (custom labels), now must all be updated with the shared parameters for each label (& each updated individually).

I cant find any information that (for lack of better words "Links") the new labels to the title block when inserted into an existing project, It seams the only way to update the new title block is to manually update the label parameters individually.

You have to add the shared parameters used in the Titleblock to the Project and, depends on what the parameters are for, assign them to appropriate category: Project Information or Sheets.

I'm not following. Update Shared Parameters how? Can you give me one specific example of what you mean?
