If you can get a CAD file from the surveyor with elevated contour then get it.  If not, you can edit the CAD drawing and trace the contours to create polylines with Z values import it in Revit to create a topography.

hello
you can import the cad drawing tou your site view and pick point on the flat countours coming form cad file with changing the elevation and the 3d topo will be easier to model

if you think that my answer deserve a kudo dont hesitate to give it to me , and if you find the solution inside my answer will be glad to check it as a solution , thanks

If you get a 2D survey you CAN create a 3D topography in Revit.

You'll need to extract the height values, create a 'points' file and use the points file to create the topography. I've be doing this with 2D CAD files for over 13 years into Revit topography.

A lot of people don't realize how easy it is.

You really can save a lot of time and create a 3D Topography with nothing but 2D information. I have used this a few times and now I had to look it up to remember the CAD commands to use.

I made a 2 minute video to make it easier to remember how to do it:

This was really useful. I've followed all the steps and everything looks as per the PDF however, when imported to Revit, the surface is still flat . When I click on the points though, it does show the correct elevation in the properties windows.

Not sure why the surface still shows totally flat?

Any assistance would be great!

Thanks,
