Create Railing - Problem

Dear All,

I have a problem with railing creation. I created a railing with assigned Handrail and Toprail. Railing structure itself is empty. In 3D view, the railing looks OK (green), however 2D representataion in the plan shows another pair of railing with certain offset (red). Did anyone have similar issue?

I don't understand what I'm looking at. The coloring is confusing.  Does the bottom view have an underlay?

No there is no underlay.

In few words: objects displayed in red shouldnt be there. Revit somehow duplicates the representation of the railing. I dont know whether it is Revit bug or I might have done something wrong...

.... looks like the profile you are using for the top railing is smaller than the wall.

... that is why is not covering it

Do me a favor. Create a 3D view from the Pan View using "Orient to View", then rotate that view a bit to isometric.  Post a screenshot of that view.

@Anonymous - please post a file that shows this behavior. Without definite information, we are just guessing.

...Are you talking about <Above> subcategory linework? Try turning off all your <Above> subcategories under Railing.

If you TAB select the pink element on the plan view, what does it say?
