Create grating floor

Hello all,

I want to create a grating floor in Revit with length 173m and width 1m .

https://www.google.com/search?q=grating+floor+revit&rlz=1C1GCEU_enCH865CH865&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa...

I downloaded a family from the internet but it takes much time each time that I change the dimensions.

Do you have another idea in order to create a grating floor and not be so heavy for the project?

Thank you in advance!

Why don't you just use a floor for this with a pattern?  If you need it rendered, you can just apply a cut-out map.

If you modelled that it would certainly have an effect on your project.

Then apply a cut-out map to it.

You know, keep in mind View Scale and Line Weight (both on screen and on paper) when deciding when to actually model something. You could model this fine mesh to look great with Thin lines turned ON, but as soon as you turn Thin Lines OFF, it's just going to be an ugly glob of black. The mesh will be indistinguishable.
