Create a roof tag

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

trying to put a tag on the roof but if do that compare notice "there's no tag loaded in project. load you one".

I saw that there isn't in annotation folder a specific tag for roofs and read on a post that I should create a tag on my own from a new family using the "generic tag" template. Then in the family category parameters dialog switch it to be assigned to the roof category. Load into project and tag roofs.

I do not undrestand how can swith in a family to assign the specific category.

Any advice?

Thank's.

Start a new Tag using the Generic Tag template. When you are in the generic tag, you can change its category over from Generic Model Tag  to Roof Tag.

Set up a shape, create a new Label for the information that you would like to put in the tag. You will be taken to create Label Parameters. Select the parameters that you need from the list on the left side.

When you are in the Generic Tag family, just click on the yellow folder icon in the top left of the window under Properties.

Select Roof Tags then OK

Edit the Label with the information you want from the Roof Category.

Save as a new tag and load into project.
