Crashes Revit Central File

When I open Central file from Network Drive. It is taking too much time to open to create a local file.

And when I am creating a MONOLITHIC STAIR the revit is crashing suddenly.

Can anyone help me.

Save a local copy on your machine and sync to the network central file.   Do not work off the network file.

What is your network connection to the server/central file?

If you are working wirelessly or on a 100mb connection you will experience terrible slowdowns and central file traffic that will bring Revit to a crawl.

Also run an Audit on the central file and check for warnings.  If there are a lot of warnings, have someone fix them so you can access the model.
