Corner Roof Model not aligning/modelling correctly.

I'm have trouble getting a corner kickout to roof properly in Revit. I feel like I placed the roof slopes correctly, but the roof model doesn't line up to the postions I placed my sketch lines. I attached a sample model to show my issues. I just don't understand why the Gables won't model equally.. They're lopsided and need much help to fix. Thank you in advance!

Please look at how I've created three roofs. The main one, the small one that I have open to edit in this picture, and the other side of the small one which I mirrored across the diagonal line between them.

Notice the shape of the small one that I have open to edit. Notice how one long side has a regular slope definition, and since the other side doesn't have a "side" that I can define the opposite slope with, I've used a slope arrow. Notice the placement of the slop arrow, and the fact that I've got it's slope set to match the slope value of the opposite eave line. This results in the gable correctly lining up right down the center.

Okay so instead of mirroring it over I've done it as one smaller roof. Look at the settings of the slope arrow parameters.

All as one roof now.

hi, just checked your file. im not too sure if i answered you correctly. The problem why they not aligned because of of your overhung distance from the wall are not the same. hope it helps. thanks. please see attached.

I opened the model you attached enn and the Gables were still off centered. Thank you for the help though!

Chris, I see from your first post that the gables are centered. Unfortunately I can not replicate this 😞 Is there any way you can attach the model that you were able to gain success with?

As you can see I have the same values and still my gables aren't centered..

Do you also have 6"/12" set for the sides with the little triangles? In order for the peak to be centered, both sides have to have the same slope of course.

I can send you a file, but I'm working in 2015. Tell me what year version file you want and I'll remake it in that version and post it for you.

I have 2011 thru 2015 so what ever is most convenient. The two sides with defined roof slopes are 6"/12" yes.

Awesome, Thank You! I see what issue seems to be now. The eaves aren't being placed on the plane they should be. How did you fix this? Every time I try to Align Eaves it produces an error and deletes the roof.

I just drew a new roof from scratch. I think perhaps your sketch lines got moved vertically when you were defining the slope arrows by head and tail height, and then even though you switched to defining them by slope, the heights were already messed up.
