Copy or Copy/Paste results in serious error

Hello All,

So I noticed when copy/pasting some objects from project to project, I've started to get a "serious error" message, and/or Revit would simply crash:

It's strange in that I can, for example, copy a note from one place to another, or copy a door further down a wall. But a simple shelf? Error/Crash. It seems random.

I went so far as uninstalling Revit 2023 and reinstalling. Updated Windows 10. Did a disk cleanup. Deleted many temporary files.

Dumbfounded. Or perhaps I'm just dumb?

Any help is of course greatly appreciated.

Any clues under Expand>>

I know you said it's random, but is there any consistency to the randomness?  In other words, type of element, type of view, time of  day, etc.  Only half-kidding about time of day.   😉

Good question - I’ll have to take a look next time at the computer and start recording what things are crashing me….

So now I'll start categorizing the things that give me this error. This morning, beginning to create a scissor truss. If I mirror a single annotation line, no problem. If I select multiple lines, I get the error message.

Later today if too much of this continues I'm going to switch to my laptop and see if I get the same issues, and try to narrow it down to being this desktop rather than the software or file......
