copy callouts to another view, and the head goes to the default position

Working on a hotel project where the guestrooms will be in enlarged plans. On a floorplan view, I have drawn callouts around all the different guestroom types and selected the "reference other view" option to have all the similar guestroom types reference the one unique enlarged plan each. I go to copy the detail callouts to the next floors, and the callout heads move to the default positions rather than the positions that I moved the leaders and heads to be in on the view that I'm copying from. I've tried all the different options of pasting them to the subsequent views, and the heads aren't in the adjusted locations using any of the options.

Call-out bubbles are view dependent so you have to adjust it for each view unless they are all at the default location.

So I'm going to have to reposition every single one of the callout heads?! There are 32 rooms on each floor x 6 floors x 3 disciplines = 576 callout heads that I'm going to have to adjust?! There has to be a quicker way to do this... I'm open to any suggestions you have.

You could place a Callout type without a bubble, then place a View reference next to it as the bubble.  Now you could copy paste the call-out and the view reference to other location and their relative placement would remain the same.

Okay, this might solve the locations, but how can I create a view reference label that has an instance yes/no visibility parameter for "Sim"? I created it in the family, but it doesn't appear in the properties options.

For view reference family you can just add a text "sim" and a yes/no parameter to it.  Create a type with yes and a type with no and pick the right type to place in project.  It is rather simple than the "sim" in a true call-out head.
