Hi, I wonder if we insert a Cad file (with survey data) into Revit and have to align it with survey point in Revit. It makes me so confused about the coordination of a point (x,y) in AutoCAD will be equivalent to (N/S, E/W) or (E/W, N/S) in Revit? Is there any revit document refers to this point?

Insert the CAD into 3D View.

x = E/W, y = N/S, z = Elevation

However, you need not to worry about those values of you link the CAD file in Revit, move it to align with your model, and Acquire Coordinates.

You say you want it to align it with your Survey Point?  Either insert it into 3D, or into a Plan View that is oriented to True North. CAD inserts with North at 12 o'clock high - assuming you are NOT inserting via Auto - Shared Coordinates.
