Converted user families and area problem

Hello Autodesk,

 

The wall, floors, ceilings, roofs, stairs, topography and a few more are NOT a category that normaly is available in Revit.

With a workaround this category can be achieved.

The problem is that it is NOT showing the right area.
In the example (see attached file) the area should be 1square meter. (1m2).

do you mean after exporting from revit to ifc the area value changed ?

Revit reads "not" the front area of all user families but adds the top/right/bottom/left side to the front area.

In Navisworks and Solibri.

I have tried to export to ifc and open it with solibri , I found the area in revit for a floor 1x1 m is the same in solibri,

 

could you provide us with revit file for your issue

Are you using the user families?
System families are "not" the issue.

I send you an image as example.
