Hello,
I read a lot of threads on controlling the line weight of the fill pattern applied to an element from the material browser. (surface patterns and cut patterns)
(revit ligo is like a new language, sorry if it gets confusing im still learning)
so, it is possible to control the "line weight" of a "fill pattern" in a "filled region". Sweet. if you use filled regions.
"Fill patterns" applied in the "material browser" as either "surface patterns" and/or "cut patterns" are assigned a "line weight" of 1. (one of the Unchangeables?)
cant change that?.... but you can change the size of the line weights (at different scales) form the "Additional settings" drop down on the "Manage Tab" Sweet.
I never use "line weight" 16 for anything. so what I did was assign a value to "Line weight" 1 that i wanted my surface patterns and cut patters to appear at and then assigned a smaller "line weight" to 16-13 and the assigned element that would have been assigned the '"line weight" of 1 to 16, 15, 14, or 13 (which I changed to be thinner than 1.
this seems to work out pretty well... let me know if this makes sense or there are any reasons that this method would not work or if autodesk made it possible to control the "line weight" of "surface and cut patterns" in 2019.
