Continuous Line Pattern

I have created the desired line pattern and drawn the line. The problem is the line has many short segments causing the patter to start over. Is there a way to have a continuous line pattern similar to how a spline works?

The problem is our patter has long solid dash followed by dots. When the line segments become small it just becomes solid because of how frequently the pattern is starting over.

Thanks in advance

Is this what you mean?  The detail line loses its pattern when its too shot, displaying it as a continuous line.

As far as i know, there is no way in revit to make the pattern follow the line as if it was a Autocad polyline with linetype generation enabled.

Within revit you may want to consider using a more fine version of your linestyle for small segments, though im not sure if that gives the satisfying look you want to get.

Yep thats the exact problem. I have gotten around it for some lines by using a spline but the line I am doing has 90° turns in it.
Thanks for the quick reply Deantevw maybe Autodesk can add it to the wish list
