component legend window not showing the correct property dimensions

why do the window dimensions when using the legend component not match the properties of the schedule of the window  in dimension

 for example the properties of the window 943 h x 1200 high in the schedule and in the properties  of the said window  but when using the drop down to access the said window  the dimension is  943 h x 2400  w  have checked the property window  several times and also the edit type properties  it all shows in the  written schedule but not the actual window when inserting into the drawing page 

please help going mad at this point

You will need to check how the affected window family is built. The legend components are essentially a reflection of the type properties.

One possible reason could be that the height was mistakenly set as an instance parameter. In this case, the legend component will only consider the default height set in the family when it was loaded. Another reason could be constraints within the family. Flexing the family and predefined types in the Family Editor and the model should help indicate if anything is wrong.

To assist you with this, you would need to upload at least one of the families experiencing this issue.
