Comparison of Topographies

Hello !!

I created same topography by different means and need to compare it visually with accurate topography in revit which i already have. I want to compare it like kind of having grids and place two sites over each other so could see along the profile how much deviation is from original topography. Is it possible ? Can anyone help.

in which view should i create gridlines. i cannot create horizontal grid lines in elevation view but only vertical gridlines. can you explain your way in a little more detail as it could really help me

From how it looks after all that input from those who have been contributing to this post, you are more confused than you ever were before you started this discussion 1 month ago. But again that's not surprising, who wouldn't be considering the … number of cooks on this stew 🙂

Anyhow, my sincere apologies but I am neither interested in taking part in a P-Contest nor am I able to help you when I have no clue what the purpose of your exercise is, what it will be used for, and why you are using an online mapping services which even its provider warns you about its accuracy.

Hopefully one of the guys will be able to navigate you to a safe harbor and get the topic issue resolved

from what you said earlier, i want exactly the same . just wanted to compare topographies by gridlines or something so that i can show values. Yes, i am thankful to those two who were ready to help me but i am somehow more confused now. If you could explain me your method , i will be really thankful

i am a student and its a student project. i have to show my teacher the one topography which is more nearer in accuracy to the one from surveyor. i have topographies in separate files and its topographies of the same plot. if this gridlines option help me, to show the differences in numbers. i will be very helpful
