Clipboard Copy / Paste Aligned not working.

Hey Guys,

Just a quick one, copy paste aligned to other levels, does not work. It pastes back onto the original level. Any ideas how to fix this? All other machines in our office are fine.

I have also tried paste to selected levels under the clipboard and all it does is paste back onto the same level.

Cheers.

Everything and anything I copy.

Doors, Walls, Windows, Floors, Grouped Items. Nothing copies up to other levels.

On the odd occasion it copies up but generally everything pasted back to the original level.

Are you using CLIPBOARD copy -- not the other one?

Ive been manually copying in 3D to get by, but I need clipboard copy to work for accuracy.

No offense, mate. Had to ask. It's a common mistake.

Is this the behavior with all Projects/Families?  What version are you using?

Try a Repair.

Non taken, all good man.

This is only happening on my PC, no one else in the office. Only on project files.

We are currently using 2019 with all patch fixes and updates applied.

Strange isn't it. I've never come across this before.

Definitely strange.  I haven't come across it before either. But, I have been encountered some strange behavior today, so you're not alone, mate.

Resurrecting this old thread because I'm seeing the same behaviour. Did the OP find a fix? This is v2023 on a new model, so not much time for it to become corrupted.

Update: closing and reopening Revit fixed it.
