Classification Manager not showing

Hi,

I have Revit 2019 installed as well as Classification Manager for Revit 2019. However, there is no panel in the Add Ins section of Revit.

I can see the panel for STL Exporter for Revit 2019 and COBie Extension for Revit 2019.

Any ideas???

First thing to try would be to go to windows add/remove programs and do an uninstall of the classification manager. Then go to c:\program files (x86)\Autodesk and find the folder for classification manager 2019 and delete it. Then try the install again. 

Hopefully that will make it show up. It does for a good chunk of users.

All add in installations are straight forward and installed for "all users".

STL Exporter for Revit 2019 and COBie Extension for Revit 2019 panels are showing in Revit > Add-ins.

Classification Manager panel does not, this is the case on multiple machines.

Uninstalling it and reinstalling it seems to make the panel appear in Revit. Not sure why it isn't appearing in the first place... Not ideal but there doesn't seem to be any other way around it atm

There is a bug in the installation GUI.

Run setup as Administrator

During setup select "Install for all users"

Once installed open Revit, can see the Classification Manager panel.

Log off and log on as another user.

Panel not there.

Log off and log back on as Admin

Panel is there...

However, install Classification Manager through command line as Administrator

Revit shows Panel

Log off Admin

Log on as Standard User

Revit shows Panel

Problem solved.
