The Siding - Clapboard is a material option in Revit Architecture 2009 when
using the Residential-Default.rte and Default.rte template files.
If your current project does not have that material, you can use File ->
Transfer Project Standards to get Materials from one project to another
project if you start a new project using one of those stock templates. You
must have both projects open at the same time to Transfer Project Settings.
If you don't have that material availabe to you, it is pretty easy to create
it. To get the surface pattern that you desire:
Go to Settings -> Materials.
Highlight the "Default" material, then pick the Duplicate icon button at the
bottom of the dialog box.
Name the material as desired.
In the Properties area on the right of the dialog box, change the Surface
Pattern to 3" Parallel, 4" Parallel, or 6" Parallel depending on your
desires.
Note that the above does not change the rendering information, so that needs
modified as well.
It is also handy to use the above steps to duplicate the Siding - Clapboard
material to get different exposures on your siding.
I hope that helps you with getting the desired material.

Hello Dave 🙂
The problem is, that i really can't find the clapboard siding at the list of
materials..
I don't know why, i should be there i suppose, maybe it's only in 2010?
