Cieling Tiles moved after mirroring the project?

Hello,

I had to mirror the project I'm working on due to the client desire, and once I have mirrored the project all ceiling tiles configuration is changed causing all fixtures to be moved as well. Anybody has come across such issue? Attached screenshot shows the issue. Capture.JPG

Thanks.

All I know is that moving, rotating or mirroring your project is something to avoid. The ceiling is at the right place its pattern is somewhat misaligned. I'm afraid you have to correct this manually.

Constrain the ceilings surface patterns to some other elements before mirroring. This holds true for mirroring groups with ceilings in them.

Thank for your reply,

I completely agree with you about avoiding those modifications with Revit model and I already have kept a copy of the file as a spare. but like I said we had to do that in order to fit the project in a new site location. I am now correcting it manually but I would like to know the reason that causing this error to make sure that nothing else in the project has been affected like that.

Yeah -- Every time I Mirror.

AKN even warns that it can happen.

Mirror at your own risk.

Thank you for your reply,

I've already done that before and Revit had me to delete those constraints.
