Changing the elevation of a group containing rooms

I'm having a problem with apartments (modelled as groups) on the ground floor of my project. The apartments sit on different levels due to the slope of the site,  but they do not have their own levels in the project - they are offset from the nearest level.

These groups contain rooms and I'm having problems with placing / managing these rooms. Every time I try to adjust the group's elevation, I get a warning about adjusting limits and various others, like overlapping rooms, deleted rooms etc.

Is the problem that I am not giving each FFL / apartment their own independent level? To what I understand, the calculation point of the rooms is getting broken when I move the groups upwards, and the room itself does not move up with the overall model group?

The rooms within the groups rely on the associated level.
Create separate levels for each apartment and place the groups int the reference level that you created.

I think you should consider working with links next time, it is much easier, and you can still place rooms.

Hi @SamM6AYEL,

Few months later....and maybe to late...

I don't know the setup with groups / rooms etc.

If it's a issue the Rooms become Not Enclosed, it's because they can't determine their boundary due to the offset from the level.

Select the level itself on which those rooms are attached to and change the property "Computation Height" to minimally the offset the room has from that level. This controls on what height the room will search for it's boundaries. Note: This will be applied to all rooms attached to that level!
