Change the family name

Hi, 

I would like to change the family name "not the type" of a family.

I can change by going to edit family and save as but I'm wondering if there is a better and efficient way.

you can go to project browser > look the name of your family to change, you can search it and you can rename it. thanks

you can do it either from Windows Browser as shown above or just from Revit >Project Browser >Families :

You can do it with your project Browser or Save it and Rename,

but the more helpful way to rename them from your Project Browser this will facilitate your work even if u need to add Suffix and Prefix to make Naming convention for your Families with Dynamo.
