Change Room Number Sequence to Every Other Number?

Can the Room Number sequencing be modified? For example, if I want to change the sequencing from 100, 101, 102, 103, etc., to be 100, 102, 104, 106, etc...? Or even something like 200, 300, 400...

I appreciate your response; however, this does not change the sequence of the numbers. If I create a room, the number will be 1. If I change that number to 2, then create another room, that room will be 3. How can I make the rooms be 2, 4, 6, 8...? I don't know if it is possible without and add-in or Dynamo, but I thought I would ask in case I missed a setting somewhere. There are other tools in which the sequence of numbers can be altered, e.g. revisions.
