change Material of reveals

Hi all -

I am working on a large residential project.  We want to have the majority of the exterior walls hardiplank, but have the top 1' or so (on slanted and straight profiles) to have a reveal and be metal instead of the siding.  How do I do that in revit?  I can get a reveal on the walls that are straight at the top (not sloped) but I can't change the material.  Right now, the walls are vertically stacked with foundation wall at the bottom and siding above.  I tried doing a stacked wall, but the reveal will be at the same height at every wall instead of where the wall meets the roof which is what we want.

Help!

You can split the wall to parts and assign different materials to them.

Will that work on a slope? And if I break it into parts, it will have to be specific to each wall, correct?

For sloped reveals, I would create a wall based, or face based, or line based generic model void family to cut walls. You can build the wall with one layer inside the exterior finish having the reveal material, and the void cut it deep enough to expose that layer. With this method, you would not have to split the walls to parts, which I am sorted of regreting proposing to you.
