change line type of existing (phase) footing

I have an existing phase footing which i'd like to appear dashed even when I am working on the new construction phase. please look at the attached image to understand the problem. The leftside/new footings are dashed while the rightside/existing footings are solid. Is there a way to override the graphics of linetype for the existing phase footings? Thank you.

Hi @Anonymous

Welcome to the Autodesk community! I see that this is your first post Smiley Happy

You can specify different graphics overrides for each phase status

  • Click Manage tab > Phasing panel > Phases.
  • In the Phasing dialog, click the Phase Filters tab.
  • Click New to insert a new phase filter.
The filter is assigned a default name (Optional).
  • Click in the Filter Name box to edit the name.
  • For each phase status column (New, Existing, Demolished, and Temporary), specify how you want to display the elements:
By Category: Displays elements as defined in the Object Styles dialog.
Overridden: Displays elements as specified in the Graphic Overrides tab of the Phasing dialog.
Not Displayed: Does not display the elements.

See the article HERE for more information.
