Casework family interfering with plans

I have created a custom casework family that I have inserted on the first floor.  For some reason, it is interfering with my walls on the second floor.  My walls are being wiped out on the upper level, above the fireplace cabinetry.  Don't know why this is happening.  Any ideas?  The fireplace cabinetry is a Design Option, so don't know if that is causing problems.  It is the Primary.  See first floor and second floor plans below.

I have no idea what I'm supposed to notice in those screenshots, but from where I'm sitting they look fine.  What am I missing?
