I am quite new in Revit. Mainly i am working in MEP.
Now I need generate a carpet pattern. I managed to divided a floor to parts then applied to different material. Plan view is ok. but when i come to 3D view, the carpet tiles looks very strange. It looks like 2 materials mixed. please see attached photo.
What is the problem? How to solve it

By "Parts" do you mean you had a multi layered floor and you used the Parts tool?
how thick is the top layer of the floor. ill bet its pretty thin....
