Cant position linked models correctly

Hi there, I had two linked models completed

When I stupidly changed the name of both the files

Then revit couldnt reload the links and the model positions ended up changing

I tried to match them up as best as possible but it didnt work...

And now my rooms and wall are all over the place..

What is the best practice for trying to get them back into the correct position?

Many thanks

Regards

Aidan Hawkins

"Manage > Manage Links > Reload From" didn't work?

Reload From then point to the renamed files. It should work. Or just rename them back based on the old names you see in Manage links dialog.

From your description, "Reload From" sounds like the best approach here, but another approach would be to use Specify Coordinates at Point tool in the new/replacement RVT before Linking it into Parent via Shared Coordinates Positioning.
