Cannot shorten grid lines on drawing sheet and How to align the section mark?

Hi All,

I have 2 issues while annotating the drawings.

1) I am doing some annotation for the room elevation some how there are 2 grid lines showed up. I can turn off the Blue bubble but not the Red one. Also the Red one cannot be shorten or moved that it is currently lying outside the drawings sheet. 

2) How to align the section mark? 

I turned off the snap overrides but somehow the "smart track" didn't appeared, so I am only eyeballing and manually move the section mark around, trying to make them look aligned.

1 - Do you have a linked model in there?  Or are there two views on top of each other on a sheet?  It seems that that could be causing the double grid lines.

2 - What are you actually asking here?

1） Yes, I have linked model. Not sure what do you mean "are there two views on top of each other"...I have 2 section cuts, but they are not overlapping. 

2）What I meant is the section mark is all over the place currently, I would like to make my drawings look "tidy and clean" so I was trying to move the section mark up and down to make them align. When I turned the snap override off, other objects such as elevation name would have a "smart track" or "auto snap" function, but it did not happened when I was moving the section mark. Is there any other way than manually moving them?

1 - In your VG, go to the linked model properties and set this to custom. In the annotation category, turn off grids so that only one set shows.

2 - Turn Snaps on for the view references to align.

1） When I turned off the grid, both sets are turned off.

2)  My snaps are on, but it doesn't work.

Select one of the sections, you will see 2 blue dots at each end, drag the dot slowly and a blue dash line will appear once it is aligned to another section.

You need to get to the links settings, so in VG go to Revit Links.  Find the relevant link and then set the view to Custom.  Go to the annotation category and check Custom for the view.  Turn off grids.

can you explain further how to do this or show?  which windows... there are so many settings and half seem to do nothing and the other half seem to be not available.
