cannot see my hatch in exterior 3d view

I am trying to add a new finish to my exterior walls on my condo complex. This is a file that was previously provided by a teacher of mine for my college course. Once I add the hatch pattern to my exterior walls I can't see them in 3D, and I need an elevation of each (NESW) face. I am able to see the pattern show up when I am in my floor plan. Also, I just want the exterior face of my exterior walls to be hatched, not the inside. I've been stuck for days, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Drafting or Model Hatch?  Check the View Scale.

Try flip the walls inside out by select them and press space bar.

How are you adding the hatch?  Are you Painting the Wall with a Material that has a Surface Pattern or is the Material with Surface Pattern defined in the Wall Assembly?
