when inserting Door Family place the mouse tick over the wall . When it is so the sign will change into door symbol . That is because door needs a wall in order to be placed

Thanks, but when I put the cursor over the walls it doesn't change.
Is it possible that the walls that appears in your image to belong to a Linked Revit File? In such a case you'll have to Bind the Link in order to insert the door...

You are on a 3d top view. You can't place a door if you are on a Top 3d view. Rotate your model a little bit, go to elevation, section or floor plan.
I downloaded the doors from autodesk. It lets me add doors in the 3-d view, but when I change back to the 2-d floorplan it doesn't show the door swing.
If there are door swing on the doors you can turn it on by going to visibility graphics->Door->Elevation swing. If it doesn't show then you'll have to edit the family and put the elevation swing unden the Elevation swing sub category.
My bad, I was thinking about the door swing elevation on the section or elevation view.
You'll have to edit the family and add the door swing on the family.
Is the bottom image your idea of the 2D view?? Because its not... top view is 3D NOT 2D. You need to double click one of your plan views in the project browser, then you will see the door swings.
