Cannot Locate OOTB Families

Hi,

I'm in a trial trying out Revit LT.

Cannot seem to access families. Is this a subscription restriction?

No it is not a subscription restriction it could not be installed properly. try to install again but you need to switch off all your anti virus program and firewall before installation and see if this helps. Thanks

I'm not sure if antivirus and firewall is going to make any difference if you've successfully installed it once. There is a separate download for the content but first you should verify that you are looking in the right place and that Revit is also looking in the correct location.

I've gone through those steps. Uninstalled, redownloaded and it still does this?

Check this out. It says it's installed, but I get the same screen when I go to insert family....

By default, family files are typically stored in a location like the following:

• C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\<product> <release>\Libraries

Navigate to that location and see if it contains Revit LT family folders and files.

I suggest you do a Windows search for the term "Libraries" and see what shows up.
