I have a stacked wall that I am trying to connect to a roof to take the shape of a a gable.

Are stacked walls not able to do this?

System Stacked Walls attach to roof like any other wall...make sure they are within the footprint of the roof

I tried to overhang my roof a bit more., it worked but its attaching my footing to the roof (I creatged a stack wall with foundation and wood studs all in one wall)

Why would it do this?

Best would be if you upload the Revit model to see what is going on at your end

or if you do not want to share the whole model, Select the Stacked wall and the Roof >>> copy to clipboard CTRL+C >> Go to File, New Project and paste into a blank new Revit model file (CTRL +V)
