Cannot change phase of multiple walls at once

Good day, forum,

I have an issue when trying to change a phase of multiple walls all at once. When all those walls being selected, option to change phase simply evaporates. To add, those walls have different types. Anyway, when 2 different wall objects of different types are selected, phase options seems to work fine.

What may cause this issue? Any ideas to fix it?

I would guess that your wall selection includes an infill wall.

Infill wall sections have their phasing set and controlled by Revit to match the specific phases that they exist in as defined by things such as:

An existing door created in an existing wall, then demoed in new construction, the wall that it's in will get an infill wall that exists in new construction as a result, or

A new door inserted into an existing wall will create an infill wall in the Existing phase which then gets demoed in New Construction to make room for the new door, while showing a complete wall in the existing phase.

An infill wall cannot have it's phasing altered because it's being created and managed by Revit to "fill in the gaps" in other phases and will cause what you're seeing.

Do you have any curtain walls selected by any chance?

They have a slightly different behavior vs std walls. (if you've included the mullions and things, those can't be phased)
