Can't select random elements

Hi!

I am facing a recurring trouble.

Sometimes, without a reason, Revit stops allowing me to select elements, or it selects elements when I'm trying to zoom, or the selection window appears far from the cursor, like it had a delay.

Does anyone knows what could be causing this?

that could be any one of many different things...

could be as simple as your mouse battery going dead....assuming youre using a wireless mouse.

could be your processor or graphics card  is being overworked... are you working in Reality mode or Hidden line mode?

Do to have elements is the Project that are miles apart from one another?  Everything has got to be keep within 10 miles of one another.

It has happened to more than one project. And I can't remember which ones were... Next time I'll consider it.
