Can't see dimensions exported Autocad file.

Can't see any dimensions in exported Autocad file.

I need to determine an angle of a roof pitch but I can't dimension it. No dimensions work. I've checked layer setting & created a new dim style. 

I had to copy the roof over to another cad file to get the dimension!!!!!!!

I solved it!

The view I exported from Revit was 3D, and it created an 3D autocad file. But the view was a face-on elevation.

I only have Autocad Lt.

So I'm guessing I can't dimension 3D geometry in 2D. The dimension could be going off into infinity.
