Can't link specific IFC 2x3 in Revit 2022

Hi,

I'm trying to link or open the attached IFC-file in Revit 2022.1.21.13 (Ifc Exporter 22.4) but it doesn't show anything. When I try to open it I get an error that it is unable to open it.  When I try it in Revit 2021 it works fine.

Unable to import/open an IFC file in Revit 2022.
The file appears to keep loading for more than thirty minutes but does not succeed or nothing is imported.

Causes:
  • IFC is too large and complex.

  • IFC is imported and exported from Revit. Revit IFC workflow was originally not designed for the situation "roundtrip" between different Revit versions, but primarily for the communication with other software.

  • IFC4 file.
  • IFC4x1 file.
Solution:

To resolve this issue, try one or more of the following:

  • Link the IFC into Revit rather than opening it.

  • Divide IFC model into smaller parts and link smaller IFCs instead, because *.IFC.RVT created by Linking must be smaller than 2GB.

  • If IFC is imported and exported from Revit, refer the information given below:

    • The IFC format is designed to export specific data and share the data with other software products. Exporting and importing data from and to the same software, or round-tripping, is neither supported or certified from the creator of the format IFC Building Smart.

  • In the case of IFC4 file, use Revit 2022 or newer.
  • In case of IFC file size 1+GB, use Revit 2022.1 or newer.
  • Use IFC2x3.
