Can't find the COBie.Space.FloorName parameter in the project

Hi everyone, I need to fill the COBie.Space.FloorName parameter to customize it for my COBie Spreadsheet, but I'm not finding inside my Revit project, I can't see it anywhere. The weird thing is that it appears filled in my COBie Spreadsheet but with the name of the building levels. I want to change it to "Name of the Room + Name of the Level" and I think the best place to make it is at the Parameter Mapping tab in Setup Project.
I've already looked at the entire Parameter Mapping tab (at the Room instance parameters and the Levels instance parameters too) and it's not there... does anyone know where can I find it so I can edit it at the Parameter Mapping tab?

Nothing there to map, that schedule field "FloorName" is the OOTB Level parameter only renamed in the header.  Open the schedule and check the Formatting Tab to check

To create the combination you asked for..you can

  • Either Create a New Parameter to fill in
  • Or use a combined field
    1. Open Schedule and go to Fields tab
    2. Remove the Level Fields
    3. Use the Combine Fields button
    4. Put Level and COBie.Space.Name together

Thank you so much! I think that it will work. But the COBie.Space schedule wasn't created here, I've already configured the "Schedule" tab in Setup Project and I can't find it... do you know what happened and how can I fix that?

Maybe they have been deleted or spaces were not setup properly

Go to Space Setup ...either set them up or reset to default if you have no specifics , then save and close to execute and recreate!!!

If you are not familiar with the extension, I would highly suggest that you watch all the videos on the following link

I've already tried to recreate the schedules setting the Space parameters to default (in Setup Project), but it's still not working... I tried to setup the COBie parameters in another project from scratch and it's still not appearing the COBie.Space schedule... And I've already watched the youtube videos too 😞

Hey, I tried to Setup the COBie parameters in another computer and it worked, now I have the schedules! But there's one more problem: every manual edit I make in the schedule (the Combine Fields action, for example) can't be exported to the COBie Spreadsheet (as it shows in the image)... I've already tested the exporting and it does not export to the Spreadsheet... Do you know how can we solve this issue so I can export this updated parameter to the COBie Spreadsheet?

Indeed it does what it says, user can do that; nonetheless the statement does not say you cannot export other fields through the the add-in and/or directly via the standard Revit spreadsheet export. What you are using is their template, you need to either create your own to export different fields or add a new parameter and include it in the exported attributes.

This however, is  different topic which started on not being able to find a parameter but I see you have already started a new thread/post 🙂 so maybe it can be discussed there
