can't delete detail lines due to pinned

Hello Everyone,

I want to delet a few detail lines. When I try to do so I get a box in low right corner saying: "Pinned objects were not deleted. To delete them, unpin them before using delete." When I try to unpin, the unpin icon is greyed out and I can't click it and unpin the lines.. Does any one hava an Idea of what to do?

Best regards and thanks in advance!

Blue symbol in your screenshot indicates that the line is part of a group.

Clicking that blue symbol can rmeove the line from that instnce of the group.

Otherwise you would have to edit the group and remove that line from the group (all instances).

To make sure of the following methods:

1- Active Select Pinned Elements Icon.

This made it. I first had a symbol that where the three cubes with a diagonal line over saying 'make editable' . I clicked that and the symbol that is on the screenshot appeard. I thought I was done clicking those icons but boy was I wrong. I clicked again and choosed 'fix group' and then I could take the line out of the group (that I didn't see) and now it all works! Thank you!

Does anyone know the cause of this or how to prevent this form occuring?

This is happening multiple times in a high rise residential I am doing.  We are doing the electrical design and my annotation group that has detail linework and text in it, is constantly having this problem.  Weird thing is that it worked for about a week with no problems then suddenly this error is occuring left and right.

Not sure why you name me in this question (I never worked with HSM) and why you post this in the Revit forum.

Probably better to post your question in one of the HSM forums like THIS one.
